Cranberry Families: This is just a reminder that we will have a Parent Vocabulary Fun Night tomorrow at 6pm. We hope to see you and your child there! Also, our Scholastic Book Fair begins tomorrow! For families attending Monday evening's training--you will also get an opportunity to shop in the Book Fair with your child that night (so be sure to bring your cash or checkbook)! Cranberry Families: This is a reminder about our upcoming Family Vocabulary Night this coming Monday at 6pm in the gym! You will learn some tips on helping your child build vocabulary, students will make a craft--and each student will leave with a new book. There will even be a few door prizes! As we return to school from Spring Break, we want to remind everyone that our Reading Club will meet today after school (and all other Mondays through the month of April). Students must have an adult attend with them--and together they will read and test on AR books, earning various brag tags for their accomplishments! It's not too late to take advantage of this great opportunity!! We hope to see you there today (3:15-4:15 in the cafeteria)❤️🦅

Good morning Cranberry families! Due to weather conditions, Raleigh County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day. Your child will need to complete day #4 in the packet that was sent home by their teacher. Stay warm!❄️🦅

Due to inclement weather and today’s remote learning day, please see the attached memo from Superintendent Dr. Starcher of the location change for
the RCBOE’s scheduled meeting for today, December 9, 2025 at 4:30 PM.

We also ask that the principals of the schools for the LSIC Presentations and Student Recognitions to please notify the staff, students, parents and businesses
and let them know it will be rescheduled at a later date.

Good evening Cranberry Families! This is a reminder that all Boo-Gram orders are due tomorrow morning (Thursday, Oct. 30). Also, if you would like to make a donation of Tootsie Roll Pops or Blow Pops to be used for Boo-Grams, you can drop these off or send them into the school tomorrow morning. Our Parent Lighthouse Team thanks you for your continued support, as all money earned will go toward Student Field Day and other student incentives.💙🦅

Cranberry Families: Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding required coach’s trainings and/or certifications, the elementary sports season has had to be pushed back by a few weeks. Adjusted tryout and game schedules will be released when they become available. Tryouts will tentatively begin September 10th. First games will not begin before September 22nd. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to a great season!

Good evening! This is a reminder that Cranberry's Field Day takes place tomorrow. Please make sure your child brings a towel, a change of dry clothes (including undies and socks), and a plastic bag for their wet items! If needed, please apply sunblock to your child before they leave home. There will be wet and dry activities throughout the day. PK students must have a parent accompanying them.
